How do you know if you have diabetes without going to the Doctor? This is a little more complicated question than it sounds. A lot of people don’t have any idea that they’re diabetic until they go for a blood test that shows elevated blood sugar, but there are some ways to tell.

Here are the top three:

Bathroom

Excessive Thirst – if you’re constantly thirsty without any particular reason, then there’s a good chance you’re diabetic or pre diabetic. What happens is that your body tries to get rid of the sugar by filtering it through the kidneys and then out via urination. Since you’re peeing a lot, you need to drink a lot. If you get a lot of thirst or dry mouth after eating sugary or starchy food, you’re definitely need to see your doctor to confirm.

Bamboo, which is actually considered a grass instead of a tree, grows much more quickly than most types of hardwood. Usually the bamboo is harvested between three and six years. Compare that to hardwood trees which can take anywhere from 40 years to 120 years to mature. That’s a big difference obviously and is the main reason it is considered such a good Eco friendly option to hardwood.

Another reason bamboo is liked by environmentalists is because the bamboo requires very little pesticides and fertilizers. Pesticides and fertilizers can pollute the land and waters where the forests are managed. However, the manufacturing process of bamboo flooring can result in byproducts being dumped into local rivers and streams. So, it’s very important to make sure you are buying bamboo from a reputable manufacturer. Two of the top manufacturers are Teragren and Ecotimber.

Whether you like it or not, you are a representative of the United States once you travel to a foreign country. Many have to come to associate such questions as: “Don’t you have an American cup of coffee?” or “You don’t speak English?” or “That’s not how we do things at home.” as typical American behavior overseas.

Nonetheless, there are several things you just can’t do when you travel as they are regarded in bad taste: taking photographs of people without asking their permission, acting critical or amused by customs that are alien to you, getting too familiar, too fast (for example, slapping someone on the back, even if the gesture is well intentioned).

One of the essential processes in any bathroom remodeling project is to determine the types of bathroom faucets that will fit into the final design. A homeowner may not realize that there are several different types of bathroom faucet designs that all serve a different purpose. To get the right faucet for the project, it is essential to know the primary design types.

As with most home remodeling products, bathroom faucets have different kinds of layouts that affect how well the faucet will fit in with the project design. Some faucet types will not work with a vanity depending on the layout of the vanity and the needs of the bathroom. It is important to become familiar with the terminology and how it applies to faucet designs before deciding on which faucet to install in a bathroom.

Today we’re going to talk about RV holding tanks. To start with, I wanted to mention something about RV holding tanks that I don’t think a lot of RVers are aware of. Many of the free dump stations available to RVers are closing because of chemicals that are harmful to septic systems and because RVers are abusing these dump stations. If we want to have access to these dump stations it is absolutely essential that we use septic safe chemicals (no formaldehyde), and that we clean up after ourselves and do not abuse dump stations.

Planning a new bathroom or remodeling an existing one? Use these bathroom layout tips to create an intimate, rejuvenating space.

Your bathroom layout master plan starts with drawing a scale footprint, or floor-plan. Grab your measuring tape, a ruler and some graph paper. A scale of 1/4 inch to 1 foot (or 2 cm to 30 cm) is standard. If you’re using a computer program instead of paper, the idea is still the same.

I encourage you to take plenty of time at this stage. Try different layouts. You’ll intuitively go back to the ones that work best for you.

The following are a few of the minimum measurements to keep in mind as you brainstorm your layout:
