Owning your own domain name solves all of this. You are in total control of what your potential customer sees. Picture posting: “http://www.mydomain.com/?aid=480032adlink” onto your ad. Would you click this? Neither would I. Now, post “www.Click-This-Baby-Right-Here.com”, and you'll get clicks through the roof for obvious reasons. Get it forwarded to the affiliate link and you're in business! People will always love puppies, Art Garfunkel, and sexy! Domain forwarding is sexy!
Q: I want to purchase a good internet marketing program but I don't want to get ripped-off. Where do I start?
A: The internet world sometimes seems like one big gyp machine to me. Everywhere you turn, there are marketing ploys designed to pull you to their site and get your wallet open before you can say, “whoa whoa wait a min…”.
As far as marketing of online business products, it is what it is. That's the business, but if you're one of the smart one's, you can sift through the b.s. and look for value.
What is value? Look for a program that has a LOT of information in it concerning many different money making methods. Look for step-by-step teaching system like videos or powerpoint presentations. Look for a price of around $100, that's usually the best value. Use your instincts and gut-feelings to determine what has value. Remember, what is NOT said in an ad can be just as important as what IS said. Do your homework and you'll be fine!
