You chose to work from home to avoid the stress of travelling in peak hour traffic, fighting the crowds on the streets and getting to the office, only to find you have deadlines to meet and quotas to fill.

You left the stress of keeping your job in these uncertain times, of doing twice the work in half the time, and always worrying whether you would be able to pay the mortgage next month.

Or, so you thought.

Here you are, working your dream, earning money from your computer, working from home. There is not supposed to be any stress. What went wrong?

There are always bills to pay and work that needs to be finished. There will always be uncertainty in business and at home. Your friends and family will always be a source of concern.

If you feel stress, it could be because you are not looking after your health. You need exercise, a healthy diet, a good night's rest every night and time to relax. If you are not getting any of these things, your body's needs are not being met and you will feel stressed.

Try to organise a schedule for your work. It can be very flexible but you need to allow for deadlines and routine tasks. It is good to organise yourself around the family so you can spend some quality time with them.

Get the bill paying organised, too. If you have a routine to pay the bills and have it set out, you are unlikely to be surprised by an unexpected bill. This will help to ease any anxieties you have and will lessen any stress you feel.
